Life Rules
This is an ever growing list of my life rules as they come to mind.
- Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind
- Attempt to do all things to God’s glory, in the best interest of mankind, and to my own good, profit, and pleasure without worrying about how long the endeavor may take or the trials that may be faced.
- Love your neighbor as yourself by counting others as more significant than yourself and putting their interests above your own
- Do nothing that contradicts your faith
- Always take the most unique, least available opportunity
- Live by the rule of 3s
- Never burn your bridges
- It’s all about who you know, not what you know
- Live with as little inhibitions as possible
- Try to view life through other people’s perspective and respond to them accordingly
- Nothing is worth loosing sleep over
- Live within your income, and never have any debt
- If anyone speaks badly about you, your life should be lived in such a way that no one would believe them
- Never live the status quo but always proactively engaging my mind and body to find ways to fulfill the previous goal.
- Whenever I fail to maintain these principals to get back up and persevere.
- Live to fullest no matter my age, physical capabilities, or unfavorable situations I may find myself in.
- Never do anything that I would regret having done differently in the last hour of my life.
- Act and speak in all humility as if I were the worst and ugliest person on the face of this earth.
- Never to judge a single person because of their actions whether they practice a lifestyle I don’t agree with or personally attack me but to remind myself that my life is full of it’s own faults.
- When I feel pain I want to automatically be reminded of Christians all over the world who suffer physically for their faith.
- Always looking for opportunities to show charity, and when opportunities are found to give liberally and without reservations.
- Never to speak negatively about anyone unless it is called upon by someone with authority and/or it will bring about the most good.
- Frequently do things that would seem unlikely to be done by me.
- To be at peace with all men to the best of my abilities.
- To be known as a faithful man in all that I do.
- Spend my nights in meditation of the current day and how I may improved the next day.
- Always do those things I wish I had done when I see others do it.
