About
Live [Simply] Free was created in March 2010. Its premise is that through simplicity comes freedom on all levels (i.e. emotionally, physically, financially, etc.). It’s so easy to get caught up in the business of life that life itself becomes routine and mundane. We then miss all the inspiring and wonderful things that are right in front of us.
My name is Andrew Randazzo and I share my journey here about what I learn and observe about simplicity. My hope is that I inspire others to live more simply in some fashion in their lives. I’m a Christian in my 20-somethings who wanted more focus for my spiritual relationship with Christ and to enjoy each day to the fullest. I realized that I can rush towards a goal and die the day before I reach it and miss all the opportunities that were around me in the present. I’m done rushing around, and I’m all about living in the moment and squeezing the most of life.
In 2010 I paired down all my possessions to a bare minimum of what I needed to get by. One of my philosophies is that less is more. I believe there’s more to life than what our society is settling for. Life is all what you make it to be, and I choose to live extraordinarily.
Below is a little bit more about me, and you can also check out my Life Rules:
- I’ve spent a few years living in Venezuela
- I have a BA in Theology from Northland International University
- I currently live in Knoxville, TN
- I am a Paramedic working for an ambulance service
- I’m hoping to start nursing school sometime this year
- My hobbies consist of photography, swimming, rock climbing, and wakeboarding
