Back in December of 2010, I graduated college with a degree in Theology. I had returned home with no prospects of work. I was under no pressure to find a job immediately, and decided to take advantage of the break during this transition in my life.
I determined that I would begin to craft a vision for what I wanted my life to look like. For two months I began to read and research which led me to forming a minimalistic lifestyle for a couple years which meant owning less than 100 items. This was an eye opening exercise that decluttered my life physically and mentally, bringing me to several revelations. It also led me to form a quasi manifesto for what I wanted out of life.
Phrases like:
No reserves, no retreats, no regrets.
Life is what you make it to be, so choose to live extraordinarily.
Now with a wife, three kids, and a growing company, I’ve had to relearn what the above phrases look like in this new life.
This site is an active work in progress as I go through the cycle of learning, implementing, and gathering feedback.
